ANNUAL CHRISTMAS OPEN HOUSE

Tracy and Richard invite you to come celebrate the Christmas Season at our Annual Christmas Open House. Please stop by the office at your convenience on Thursday, December 14, 2023, between 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and register for a door prize and pick up a complimentary gift while we also raise money for First Priority’s Clothe Our Kids Ministry.

This year we have decided to modify our Christmas Open House. While we won’t be serving lunch this year, we do have a sweet treat for your family. Your family’s special gift this year will be a 3 lb. cake of your choice from The Boston Coffee Cake Company. These cakes are delicious!

We will be ordering four different kinds of cakes for you to select from-----

Caramel Apple Harvest, Cinnamon Swirl, Triple Chocolate or Lemon Burst.

You MUST let me know your family’s selection (one cake per family, please) by Friday, November 17, 2023. Very few extras of these cakes will be ordered so it is imperative that you get your order in to me by Friday, November 17th. Let us help you get that baking done for your Christmas gathering.

This year we will be collecting monetary donations to help First Priority’s Clothe Our Kids Ministry. This organization coordinates with local school systems to help children receive needed clothing and hygiene products. Any amount of monetary donations will be appreciated and checks should be made to First Priority. Lentz Thompson Retirement Advisors will match the donation amount collected at our Open House.

will have a couple of tables set up if you would like to eat at

our office or you may take your lunch to go.

This year we will be helping First Priority’s Clothe Our Kids Ministry with their tennis shoe drive and their Adopt a Box drive. This organization coordinates with local school systems to help children receive needed clothing and hygiene products. When a school official requests clothing for a child, Clothe Our Kids delivers the bag to the school official so that the child can discreetly be given the plain, unmarked bag. We ask that you bring new or gently used tennis shoes in all sizes to our Open House. If you had rather donate money, the Adopt a Box is $30 which is generally how much a bag of clothing and toiletries cost to put together. Monetary donations of any amount are also appreciated and checks should be made to First Priority.

Tracy and Richard would like to invite you to our Christmas Open House. We will have our office set up to allow you to walk through

to pick up a boxed lunch and complimentary gifts.

This year we will be helping a local non-profit organization called

“Sleep In Heavenly Peace”. They provide hand-made beds for children in our

area that do not have a bed of their own. Their motto is

“NO KID SLEEPS ON THE FLOOR IN OUR TOWN!”

We will have a collection area at our Open House for new standard size pillows,

twin size comforters or twin size quilts, twin size sheets and twin size blankets.

Monetary donations will also be appreciated to go toward

purchasing twin size mattresses.

Annual Ladies’ Valentine Luncheon Cancelled for 2021

Tracy and Richard have made the difficult decision to cancel the Annual Ladies’ Valentine Luncheon for 2021. We always enjoy this special event with our widow clients and their guests, but due to the number of COVID-19 cases in our area, we felt it best not to gather at a restaurant at this time. We are certainly disappointed with this decision as we consider our Annual Ladies’ Valentine Luncheon one of the highlights of our year. We appreciate your understanding and your continued trust and confidence.

Tracy and Richard would like to invite you to our Christmas Open House. Due to COVID guidelines, we will not have a seated meal as in years past.

We will have our office set up to allow you to walk through to pick up a boxed lunch, dessert and a complimentary gift. In an effort to keep everyone as safe as possible, we will be wearing masks and

request our guests do likewise.

This year we will be helping the North Central Alabama Regional Council

of Governments (NARCOG) with their Blanket Blessings collection.

These new throws, quilts and blankets will be given to homebound

residents in North Alabama. Please bring your donation of a new throw,

quilt or full-size blanket when you come to our open house.

Monetary donations are also welcomed.

****UPDATE****

We have rescheduled our Annual Golf Tournament for Friday, October 2, 2020.

Our rain date will be Friday, October 9, 2020.

Golfers will receive an email closer to the date with more information.

Annual Golf Tournament Postponed

Tracy and Richard have made the difficult decision to postpone the LTRA Annual Golf Tournament which was scheduled for Friday, June 5th.

Our host club, Terri Pines just received notification from the Alabama Golf Association (AGA) regarding cart-sharing policies mandated by the State of Alabama. The policy requires persons not of the same household to have separate carts, which limits Terri Pines’ ability to host golf tournaments of our size. Given that further AGA guidance is not expected until July, Tracy and Richard believe postponing the tournament to be the best current course of action. We will review other dates/options once this additional guidance is provided and still hope to have the event this summer or fall.

We are certainly disappointed with this decision as we consider our annual golf tournament one of the highlights of our year. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to a return to more normal times. As always, thank you for your continued trust and confidence.
