CONGRATULATIONS, CONNOR!
On December 13, 2025, Amy's son, Connor, graduated from The University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He majored in Computer Science and minored in Psychology. Way to go, Connor!
CHRISTMAS OPEN HOUSE 2025
Our annual Christmas Open House was held on Thursday, December 11, 2025. We had a great turnout, many delicious cakes were given to clients, and we were delighted to see so many smiling faces in one day. Our clients gave generously to Everyday Sunshine, a nonprofit that provides employment and life skills for those with developmental disabilities. Thank you for helping make a meaningful difference for them!

LUNCH & LEARN 2025
On Thursday, September 25, 2025, we hosted our annual Lunch & Learn event at Cook Museum of Natural Science in one of their spacious banquet halls. Our clients and their guests enjoyed lunch catered by Nature’s Table Restaurant before hearing from our speakers, Drs. Joy and Darren Waldrep, who shared valuable insights on cyber awareness. They discussed topics such as creating unique passwords, using two-factor authentication, recognizing phishing scams and keeping devices updated. We then drew names for the winners of the beautiful table arrangements created by McBride Florist. We hope everyone enjoyed this event and went home with a cyber awareness tip to put into practice.
MAX GOT MARRIED
Our employee, Max Faure, married his beautiful bride, Zoe Walker, on July 1, 2025, at Domaine de Ronsard in Belleme, France. The ceremony was officiated by our own Richard Thompson. It was a day filled with beauty, joy and unforgettable moments. Congratulations, Max and Zoe!
CONGRATULATIONS, MARY LANE!
Richard's daughter, Mary Lane, graduated from Decatur Heritage Christian Academy on May 16, 2025. She plans to attend Auburn University in the fall. We can't wait to see what her bright future holds.
LUKE GRADUATED FROM UNA
Joy's son, Luke, received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Alabama on May 10, 2025. He majored in Computer Information Systems. Congratulations, Luke!
AMY'S DAUGHTER GOT MARRIED
Amy's daughter, Ella Grace, married Luke Chapin on April 12, 2025, in a beautiful ceremony in Atlanta, GA. Even their dog, Bruno, got to participate in the festivities. Congratulations to the happy couple!
24th Annual Lentz Thompson Golf Tournament
Our 24th Annual Lentz Thompson Golf Tournament was held on April 30, 2025. It had to be moved to our rain date this year, and it was held at TP Country Club in Cullman, AL. Even though we had to change the date due to the weather, we still had 28 teams to participate, and we all had a great day. From biscuits that morning, to announcements and prayer before we started, to enjoying a beautiful day of golf, and then a delicious lunch and even gift card prizes given away to be spent in the newly renovated Pro Shop---it was all a wonderful time spent with our clients and their guests.

Ninth Annual Ladies' Valentine Luncheon
We had our Ninth Annual Ladies’ Valentine Luncheon for our widow clients and their guests on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at The Freight House Restaurant in Hartselle, AL. These special ladies were treated to a delicious lunch along with strawberry cake for dessert. Our outstanding speaker for the event was Jimmy Meek, Senior Pastor from Parkview Baptist Church in Decatur, AL. All the ladies received a gift to take home with them, and some ladies won the beautiful table arrangements that Party Petals by Deana had created. We had a wonderful time with these special clients and their guests and hope they felt loved.
