25th Annual LTRA Golf Tournament

25th Annual LTRA Golf Tournament

On April 24, 2026, we had the pleasure of hosting our 25th Annual LTRA Golf Tournament at Terri Pines Country Club in Cullman, AL. With 120 players in attendance, we were grateful for beautiful weather that made for an exceptional day on the course.

The morning began with Chick‑fil‑A for breakfast before players teed off, followed by a delicious lunch prepared by the country club chef, featuring pulled pork and chicken sandwiches with classic sides and dessert. Throughout the day, friendly competition added to the fun, with Pro Shop gift cards awarded as prizes.

Most importantly, this annual tournament gave us the opportunity to spend meaningful time with our clients and friends in a relaxed and enjoyable setting. By all accounts, everyone had a great time, and we are thankful to each participant who helped make this milestone event such a success. We look forward to continuing this tradition for many years to come.

2026 Valentine Luncheon

2026 Valentine Luncheon

On February 12, 2026, we hosted our 10th Annual Ladies’ Valentine Luncheon for our widow clients and their guests at The Freight House Restaurant in Hartselle, AL.  These special ladies were treated to lunch and dessert, and we were honored to spend time with them.

Our speaker, David Burdeshaw, Associate Pastor and Minister of Discipleship at Westmeade Baptist Church, encouraged us to step out of our comfort zones, get to know our neighbors and build meaningful relationships.  Each lady received a set of floral notecards as a gift from us, and a few lucky ladies went home with a beautiful flower arrangement created by Party Petals by Deana.

We truly enjoyed our time together and hope each of these ladies know just how special they are to LTRA.

A special shoutout to The Freight House Restaurant for going above and beyond!  One of our sweet ladies accidentally came the following day, thinking the luncheon was on the 13th.  When she decided to stay and have lunch anyway, the waitress who had served our event the day before kindly would not let her pay for her meal.  What a beautiful example of genuine care and service.  Thank you, Freight House, for your generosity!
