Tracy Lentz, CFS

Tracy L. Lentz is dedicated to providing clients with personalized attention and service, always prioritizing their best interests. His mission is to cultivate lifelong, mutually beneficial relationships, ensuring each client becomes a "Client for Life."

Tracy's journey into retirement planning was inspired by his father, who sought his advice during his own retirement in 1998. Through this experience, Tracy recognized a gap in the industry's focus on income strategies for retirees. Motivated to fill this void, he entered the financial industry in 1999 and established his independent wealth planning office in 2002.

Over the past two decades, Tracy has been privileged to serve numerous client families, addressing their retirement and wealth management needs. He attributes his success to a dedicated team, including his business partner, Richard Thompson, and a staff that treats clients with the utmost care and respect.

• Certified Fund Specialist since 2002
• Trained at the Strategic Distribution Institute in Denver (2002)
• Completed the Next Phase Income Training Workshop in Omaha, NE (2014)

Education:

• Bachelor of Science in Corporate Finance, University of Alabama
• Master's in Banking and Finance with a concentration in Money and Investments, University of Alabama
• Former member of the University of Alabama’s golf team (1985-1990)
• Named Paul “Bear” Bryant Student-Athlete of the Year (1988)
• Academic All-American (1990-91)

Community Involvement:

• Volunteer High School Baseball & Football Coach at Decatur Heritage Christian Academy
• Active Member of Westmeade Baptist Church

Personal Life:

Tracy was raised in Caddo, AL, and currently resides in Decatur, AL, with his wife, Angela, and their two sons, Trace and Mason. He enjoys playing golf and spending quality time with family and friends.
