We held our annual golf tournament at TP Country Club in Cullman on Friday, April 22, 2022. We had a gorgeous day, 110 golfers, lots of food, several prizes given away and tons of laughs!
Tracy and Richard made the decision to cancel the Annual Ladies’ Valentine Luncheon for 2022. We always enjoy this special event with our widow clients and their guests, but due to the number of COVID-19 cases in our area at that time, we felt it best not to gather at a restaurant. Since we were not able to meet in person, we decided to order flowers for each lady. Several florists in North Alabama helped us by delivering flowers to each lady on Valentine's Day. We hope they felt special and were reminded that we care about each one of them. Below are just a few pictures of the flowers that were delivered.
Ella Grace received her Bachelor of Science degree from Athens State University on December 4, 2021. She majored in Interdisciplinary Studies and minored in Human Resource Management with a concentration in Marketing.

We had such a wonderful time at our Christmas "Grab & Go" Open House. We were able to visit with so many of you, and it was great to see your smiling faces! We had boxed lunches, desserts and some gift items from us. Each year we like to help a local non-profit organization. This year we collected items for “Sleep In Heavenly Peace”. They provide hand-made beds for children in our area that do not have a bed of their own. Their motto is “NO KID SLEEPS ON THE FLOOR IN OUR TOWN!” We had a collection area at our Open House for new standard size pillows, twin size comforters or twin size quilts, twin size sheets and twin size blankets. Through your generous donations we not only collected lots of bedding items but also $1,235.00. Thank you so much for your generosity. Thank you to all of you that came to our Open House, and we look forward to working with each one of you in 2022!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from all of us at Lentz Thompson Retirement Advisors!
Max is now a full-time employee for Lentz Thompson Retirement Advisors for one year. He was an intern for us in the summer of 2020. He graduated from William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri, in May 2021 with a degree in Business Administration. He has joined us again after his graduation and will be working with Tracy and Richard. He recently completed the Securities Industry Essentials exam and is now preparing for his Series 7 license. Congratulations on your graduation and welcome back!
Trace is interning with us for the summer while attending the University of Alabama. He is studying finance and is going into his senior year this upcoming semester. He enjoys baseball, working out, and golf with his dad. ..
Joy's son, Luke, graduated from Hartselle High School on May 17, 2021. He plans to attend Calhoun Community College in the fall. We are proud of your accomplishments and can't wait to see where life takes you next!
On Friday, April 16, 2021, we had our 20th Annual Lentz Thompson Golf Tournament. It was the largest turnout of players we have ever had. We had a fun day of golf, delicious food, great weather, awesome prizes and lots of laughs. Thanks to all that came!
We were unable to have our Annual Ladies’ Valentine Luncheon for our widow clients this year due to Covid. Since we were not able to get together, we sent each lady a beautiful flower arrangement a few days before Valentine’s Day to let them know how special they are to us.
This year due to Covid we were unable to have our traditional Christmas Open House. We decided to have a walk through “Grab & Go” Open House. We had box lunches from Apple Lane Farms, Mel’s Sweet Treats and Chicken Salad Chick that clients could pick up, and they also could select a mini bundt cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes. Our clients brought new blankets, quilts and throws to help North Central Alabama Regional Council of Governments (NARCOG) with their Blanket Blessing collection. These blankets went to homebound residents in our area. We thank each of you for donating, and we enjoyed getting to see each client that came even if it was just for a minute.
We were excited to have our 19th Annual Lentz Thompson Golf Tournament at TP Country Club in Cullman on Friday, October 2, 2020. We had a wonderful day with our 92 golfers. The weather was perfect, the food was delicious, and we were glad to be able to see so many clients and guests enjoying a day of golf together after experiencing this very unusual year. We look forward to seeing everyone next year!
Our summer intern, Max, had his last day in our office on August 12, 2020. Before he left to go back to college, he gave Tracy and Richard a golf head cover with their initials on it that he had made for them. While he was with us this summer, he learned about our wealth management practice and had a huge roll in redesigning our website. He also set up our LTRA Facebook and LinkedIn pages. He was a tremendous help this summer, and we will miss him being in the office every day. However, technology is still allowing him to help us remotely. We wish him a wonderful year back at college, and are thankful that he can still be a part of the Lentz Thompson team.
Lentz Thompson Retirement Advisors are proud of recent high school graduates, Jacob and Mason. These young men just graduated from high school after a dramatic final semester. Nonetheless, there are still plenty of good times ahead of them as they are both going to be attending the University of Alabama in the fall.
Amy's daughter got married on June 20th. It was a beautiful outdoor ceremony. Congratulations to Ella Grace and Alex!
We recently hired our summer intern. Max is from France and studies business at William Woods University in Fulton, MO. He is a full-time student athlete on the golf team. Fishing is his favorite thing to do when he is not playing golf or working.
